Geoffrey joined the Financial Services Industry in 1974 with a major investment firm. In September 1974 he moved to the a large insurance group – where he worked as a senior consultant from 1975. In 1989 he was appointed an Executive Consultant and set up his own Company Representative Agency. He was the No. 1 producer for a large insurance group between 1992 – 1996 and the overall longest serving consultant in his company until he decided to join an independent financial advisory firm in the city as an assistant Director in 1999. In 2006 Geoffrey then joined a London IFA practice as a Senior Adviser. Geoffrey has qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for 31 consecutive years. He qualified 4 times for the Court of the Table and Top of the Table for 2001. He was also received the 1 st LIA Persistency Award at the Barbican Centre in April 1984 and was awarded the 10 year Qualification also at the Barbican. In 1990 he received the De L’Isle Trophy from a large insurance group in recognition of his dedication and commitment to his clients and the company. Apart from a BSc in Management, in 1983 Geoffrey received a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Life Assurance from Pacific Western University (USA). He has also been adviser to the Prince’s Trust since 1999.

Geoffrey is still involved in political research and community affairs in the City of Westminster, as well as the theatre. He is a keen sportsman involved in cricket, football and athletics and recently retired from competitive running, having completed 6 marathons, including 5 national championship races (AAA) in London. In 1992 he finished 59 th in 2:22:57.
