Robert spent five years working in a major UK bank and in 2004 became a Financial Planner serving two years in this role. Whilst Robert enjoyed the client contact he became increasingly frustrated and disenchanted as he was unable to provide clients with the best of advice without becoming an Independent Financial Adviser while at the bank. Robert therefore decided to take a step back and move into the world of Independent Advice by joining a London IFA practice in their back office providing administration, research and report writing services to advisers. Having spent two further years in this role and obtaining the further qualifications needed to become a Independent Financial Adviser, he joined Fairey Associates in June 2008. After having spent a further two years supporting Ed Fairey, Rob was promoted to become an Independent Financial Adviser in May 2010.

Robert is a keen sportsman who occupies himself playing Rugby in the Winter and Cricket in the Summer, as well as braving the daily commute by bicycle.
