Ed Fairey's career has been in the back and front offices of a number of leading Banks, Stockbrokers and Wealth Management Firms. Prior to establishing Fairey Associates Ed was involved in the establishment of fee based Wealth Management Departments for Cazenove Stockbrokers and C Hoare & Co. Private Bank. Following these appointments he became a self employed financial adviser working through Helm Godfrey Partners.

Edward is an independant financial adviser with a background in stock-broking, private banking and financial planning. He has worked in financial services for 15 years and is now a general financial practitioner. Edward passionately believes in providing his clients with holistic financial advice and clear no-nonsense planning.

Jen is a part qualified accountant (CIMA) in charge of finance and administration for Fairey Associates. Jen has held a number of finance and accounting positions for large institutions since graduating in 2002.

Dr Geoffrey H. Buchler

Geoffrey joined the Financial Services Industry in 1974 with Merchant Investors. In September 1974 he moved to the Royal and Sun Alliance Group – where he worked as a senior consultant since 1975. In 1989 he was appointed an Executive Consultant and set up his own Company Representative Agency: GHB Financial Management. He was the No. 1 producer for Royal and Sun Alliance between 1992 – 1996 and the overall longest serving consultant in his company until he decided to join an independent financial advisory firm in the city (Regent) as an assistant Director in 1999. In 2006 Geoffrey then Joined Helm Godfrey Partnership as a Senior Adviser. Geoffrey has qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for 31 consecutive years. He qualified 4 times for the Court of the Table and Top of the Table for 2001. He was also received the 1 st LIA Persistency Award at the Barbican Centre in April 1984 and was awarded the 10 year Qualification also at the Barbican. In 1990 he received the De L’Isle Trophy from Royal and Sun Alliance in recognition of his dedication and commitment to his clients and the company. Apart from a BSc in Management, in 1983 Geoffrey received a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Life Assurance from Pacific Western University (USA). He has also been adviser to the Prince’s Trust since 1999.

Geoffrey is still involved in political research and community affairs in the City of Westminster, as well as the theatre. He is a keen sportsman involved in cricket, football and athletics and recently retired from competitive running, having completed 6 marathons, including 5 national championship races (AAA) in London. In 1992 he finished 59 th in 2:22:57.
