Simon Sanders
After 36 years of working in Financial Services Simon has retired. During his career Simon achieved the highest level of qualifications becoming a Chartered Financial Planner in 2007. He also obtained the international qualification of Certified Financial Planner through the Institute of Financial Planning in the same year. His career in financial services began in 1982 in the Life Assurance division of a High Street Bank. He became an Independent Financial Adviser in 1997 running his own practice. From 2000 he was a director of his own Chartered Financial Practice but stepped down in August 2013 to focus on his clients and their financial goals.
Simon was an accredited member of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) and holds the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Certificate for Financial Services (Trusts and Estate Planning). These qualifications enabled him to provide specialist advice in the area of Later Life and Care Fee Planning. He also specialised in Estate Planning. Simon and his wife Sarah have lived in Bicknacre near Danbury since 1988. They are both members of the Essex Symphony Orchestra and Simon also is a member of the Essex Police Band. In the summer they enjoy sailing on their boat out of Burnham on Crouch. In retirement Simon is looking forward to spending more time with his wife sailing on the East Coast and travelling further afield together, as well as playing more golf |
