Initial phone call:
This phonecall will establish to see if we are best suited to help with your financial planning needs. The Adviser will ask questions to clarify our understanding of your current situation. There will be an explanation of how we go about gathering the necessary information needed to assist you with making the correct financial decisions.
Assuming you like what you hear, and we feel we can "add value" and not waste your time, we can arrange an initial meeting, usually at one of our offices, for a mutually agreeable time.

Preparing for your first Discovery Meeting:
We will confirm the time and date of your discovery meeting by email. This email will also include a list of relevant documents we require you to gather in preparation. The more relevant documents you can bring, the more effective the meeting will be.

The Discovery Meeting:
As a company, we value our relationships with our clients above all else. The discovery meeting will be an opportunity for both parties to break the ice and for you to find out what Fairey Associates stands for as a business. After these initial introductions, we can start the discovery element. We will lead the meeting and discuss your financial requirements, aspirations and plans for the future. We will also explore your risk tolerances in some detail ("attitude to risk") and your full financial and family situation (often called a "fact find"). As we go through the meeting we'll also refer to the documentation you compiled before the meeting.
We will also cover our fees, our credentials and answer any further questions you may have.
If we both like what we see and hear, and want to go to the next stage, we'll seek your approval to be appointed as your wealth manager. That means you instruct us to begin work on preparing your personal plan to address your stated objectives and our agreed areas from this meeting.
